Watch Out For Pension Connect
However, the directors have now been found to have set up a new business – Pension Connect.
Pension Connect was generating inbound enquiries via their website, in order to contact the “opted-in” clients to offer free pension reviews.
The new business then introduced clients to a regulated IFA firm for mortgage, pension and investment business.
We have found that financial watchdog, the FCA, has requested that the IFA firm immediately cease all regulated investment activities for customers introduced by unauthorised introducers and/or the firm’s Introducer Appointed Representatives (“IAR”), and cease activities by unauthorised introducers.
