Ward & Co Insolvency Practitioners have been contacting clients with holdings in the Newcastle based "The High Street Group"

The firm is writing to HSG investors and then pushing for card payments and harassing investors with phone calls.

All investors received the same offer letter referring to a reference HSG14728B.

“A proposal is offered on behalf of Citi Properties Ltd and remains valid for five working days from the date of this letter.

To accept this proposal, please sign and return this document to us at your earliest convenience. If you decide not to progress with this formal proposal, a notice of default will be issued after 10 working days and you will be included in the company’s liquidation process.”

This is then followed up with a letter offering a pay out, following the purchase of a “Refundable Pecuniary Insurance Policy” for a substantial amount of money.

The page refers to the Official Independent Liquidator as set out below:

When following it, you will find a page without reference to the Official Independent Liquidator, but a copy of our page – with their own contact number of course.

Action to take:

Don’t give them your money – and if you have already given them your money do the same:

Report them so they can be shut down and prosecuted:
