While the cases which can be resolved quickly are few and far between, Covid obviously has had a huge impact on pension providers as well as the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) – and by default on us.
Both the FOS and the FSCS have seen a seen a big increase in the volume of pension claims and they are working to respond to these as quickly as possible, and to reduce the amount of time each one takes to resolve.
It is also clear that no CMC or firm of solicitors will receive preferential treatment.
